There are difficult truths we must face. For the unbeliever, it is the reality that our own goodness is never enough. For the believer, it is the assurance that Jesus’ goodness is sufficient. The gospel may sound too good to be true, but the Holy Spirit convicts and convinces us of its truth, leading us to discover that Jesus is truly all we need.
