As small beginnings gain momentum, they inevitably arrive at defining moments, pivotal points that will determine whether they grow into something greater or quietly fade away. Without a clear and persevering purpose, they can be derailed by the wrong praise or deterred by obstacles and opposition. Jesus refused to be derailed by the praises of the people on Palm Sunday just as the disciples refused to be deterred by the opposition, as each held to the persevering purpose of obeying God over man.
